proposal

For this next project i have decided to change my topic slightly from MySpace vs. Facebook to internet addiction. I think that there is more information out there about internet addiction and if it is truely a disease as opposed to which internet site is better. I plan to research this topic through the library at PUC. Another reason why I chose this topic is because I think that there really is a problem with people being addicted to the internet. I think it makes people close themselves off from the world around them because they beieve they have the world at their fingertips, in their own home. But in reality they are doing nothing but closing themselves off from the world around them. There are other ways to communicate with your friends than to sit online all day and night and chat with them. Go out get something to eat go to the movies take a walk in the park. I also think that people rely too much on the internet and when their internet crashes they feel extremely lost. There are other ways to get the information you need than to surf the net.
